YOUR FEED, ON YOUR TERMS
DiscoverReflect

DISCOVER RSS · A source you chose

A new way to see something familiar.

A fresh idea from your reading list. Save it if it deserves another visit.

REFLECT From your saved material

Some things get better the second time.

A note, a bookmarked post, a passage from a recording. There is room to sit with it.

Illustration of the discovery and reflection mix.

SCROLL TOWARD SOMETHING

Less outrage.
More perspective.

The aim is simple: spend time with things that uplift you, help you learn, or give you something worth thinking about.

You choose the sources and the balance between fresh discoveries and saved material. Reasons and original links stay visible. Save, snooze, hide, reflect, or deliberately review.

This is intentional reading, with controls you can understand. There is no automatic rage-bait detector; imported social feeds can still contain it.

MANY SOURCES. ONE PLACE TO RETURN.

Your reading life,
less scattered.

Start with a public reading feed. Add your own saved material when you’re ready.

BEYOND A READ-LATER PILE

Discover. Keep. Let it sink in.

01 / CHOOSE THE MIX

New and familiar belong together.

Turn toward discovery when you want fresh perspective. Turn toward reflection when you want time with what you’ve already saved.

02 / MAKE IT YOURS

Give a good idea a second life.

Save it, add a private reflection, or put it in Read later. Those are separate intentions, so opening a link never silently marks it done.

03 / COME BACK

Remember what matters.

Old saved material still has a place. Spaced review gives selected learning material room to become something you remember.

GET STARTED

Your own reader.
Your own sources.

The full reader is an early personal app. Start on your computer, then add sources one at a time.

SEPARATE PHONE EDITION

Try the smaller phone beta

A browser app for notes, saved links, Read later, reflection, and practice. Install it on your home screen; optional sync is available.

Open phone beta

This edition does not connect RSS or social feeds, and does not share a library with the full reader.

Social connections need your own authenticated browser and compatible reader tools. Refreshes are explicit, bounded snapshots—not a continuously streaming social inbox. Read the prerequisites.

A FEW USEFUL DETAILS

Before you start.

Does it filter out all rage bait?

No. Bloomscroll’s direction is a healthier, more intentional feed. Today that comes from the sources you choose, the discovery/reflection balance, and your own save, snooze, and hide controls. There is no automatic rage-bait classifier, and a social source can still contain upsetting or sensational material.

Where does my feed live?

The full reader stores its library and personal actions on the computer running your copy. Source refreshes contact the providers you choose; external media and original links can contact their hosts. The public landing page does not connect to your personal library.

Can I connect X or Instagram in one click?

Not yet. The app can import their feeds and saved posts using compatible browser readers and your own signed-in accounts. Setup is technical, authentication may need renewal, and each refresh is a bounded snapshot. See the actual setup steps.

Can I use the full reader on my phone?

Yes, through your own always-on computer and private HTTPS access, such as Tailscale Serve. That is separate from the smaller public phone beta. See remote-access setup. There is no App Store or TestFlight download available here.

Is the source repository public?

The repository is currently private. The clean download above contains the runnable app and source-reader helpers, without anyone’s personal library, accounts, or repository history. Repository collaborators can continue using the source setup guide.
